ePub
ePub (electronic publication format) is widely supported across all platforms.
ePub is a reflowable eBook format. A reflowable document means a reader can optimize text for a particular display device.

Many e-readers include a library where books can be sorted and searched.

PDF
PDF is short for portable document format, become one of the oldest eBook formats and the most used. PDF format supports fixed width layout. PDF format is preferred because PDF files preserve the original layout of any document which has any type of data – text, drawings, multimedia, video, 3D, maps, full-colour graphics, photos, and business logic.
ePub is the preferred format:
PDF is the best format for promotional material with a fix layout.
Colour can be used in an ePub document but the layout must be kept as simple as possible to enable readability on different e-readers.
